SHERLOCK'S ARMY

Sherlock Holmes is probably the best-known fictional detective of all time. This popular character was created by the British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1887, but his stories are still loved today. Sherlock is admired all over the world because he is a highly skilled detective, and he is naturally gifted at solving mysteries and crimes. He pays close attention to small things that most people don’t notice and then he uses his excellent powers of logical deduction to arrive at correct conclusions. He doesn’t work for the police, but the London police, Scotland Yard, often ask him for help to solve cases. He is bright at finding clues, putting them together, and figuring out who did what. When he explains how he figured things out, he likes to say, “Elementary, my dear Watson”.

Dr Watson is Sherlock’s good friend who assists him in solving crimes. He shares an apartment with Sherlock at 221B Baker Street. He is also the narrator of Sherlock Holmes stories.

Professor Moriarty is another iconic character in the Sherlock Holmes Stories. He is the ruthless leader of a network of criminals. While Sherlock uses his intelligence to solve crimes and catch criminals, Professor Moriarty uses his intelligence to commit crimes and avoid getting caught. Moriarty is the mastermind behind many bad things that happen in the books. He is always trying to outsmart Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes’ stories have been adapted and made into many movies and TV shows. Face2Face has found inspiration in this influential character and created an Escape Room, “Sherlock’s Army”, which takes place in the world of Sherlock Holmes. Laureen, an incredibly talented actress from Norwich, in the east of England, brought Dr Watson to life and came to IES Bergidum Flavium to recruit volunteers for Sherlock’s Army.

They all got involved in the search for the famous detective, who was abducted by the evil Professor Moriarty on 1st December last year. Apparently, Sherlock had been sending the police clues from all over the world. However, it looked like Professor Moriarty was trying to confuse them until nobody could find out where he had taken Sherlock.

Would the detectives be able to find out where Sherlock had been taken?

Would they be clever enough to put together all the clues?
Of course. Watson wouldn’t put Sherlock’s fate is in the wrong hands. The most intelligent young detectives helped Scotland Yard to solve the case! After conducting thorough investigation, they eventually found him hidden in a church in Seoul.

Scotland Yard sends their congratulations to the persevering Sherlock’s Army. Without their help the case would never have been solved!
