DARWINISM: THE NEW WORLD VISION

Two weeks ago, the students of the bilingual section, made some research projects. Those projects were related to several topics of biology and geology.
Some groups talked about the Flora and Fauna in Cacabelos, or El Bierzo. Those projects included the connections between organisms, the type of ecosystems and some tips you can follow to preserve the environment.
On the one hand, Lucía and Clara explained how Las Médulas were created. On the other hand, Noa, Adrián and Sandra focused on the production of wine.
Another group (casually mine), was about Charles Darwin and his theories. We talked about Charles’s life and his travels around the world. We focused on the Evolution theory and how the organisms have adapted to change. We also asked people in town what they knew about evolution, and we did some interviews. It was fun!
At the end of the presentation, we discussed Darwinism in society and its repercussion, and we finished it with some odd food Darwin ate around the world, for example turtle and iguana meat.
