This week, the Music Department organized two activities to celebrate Saint Cecilia’s Day. Our 3rd ESO Bilingual Music Group celebrated with a special activity prepared entirely by the students.
During the break, the group presented their own music selection in the school playground. They introduced the event using both English and Spanish, showing the importance of bilingual communication in our centre. Each student prepared a small script to welcome everyone, present the songs, and close the event. They also designed creative posters in Canva to announce the activity around the school.
Their work was excellent: clear voices, great teamwork, confident presentations, and a wonderful musical atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Esta semana, el Departamento de Música organizó dos actividades para celebrar el Día de Santa Cecilia. Nuestro grupo de Música Bilingüe de 3.º de ESO celebró con una actividad especial preparada íntegramente por las alumnas.
Durante el recreo, el grupo presentó su propia selección musical en el patio del centro. Introdujeron el evento utilizando inglés y español, demostrando la importancia de la comunicación bilingüe en nuestro instituto. Cada alumna preparó un pequeño guion para dar la bienvenida, presentar las canciones y despedir el acto. Además, diseñaron creativos carteles en Canva para anunciar la actividad por los pasillos.
El trabajo fue excelente: voces claras, gran trabajo en equipo, presentaciones seguras y buen ambiente musical para que todos pudieran disfrutar.
