TEACH IN SPAIN: A VOLUNTEER FROM USA

This is the third school year that a volunteer from the USA has decided to join our school to share her experiences with us. We are thrilled!

  She has been to all the  classrooms to get to know all the students.

 She has shown us pictures of her country and family and the students have listened carefully to her talk. They have also taken notes and this is what the students in 2º A ESO have written.

Gabby is a beautiful, tall brunette with freckles and ear piercings. She was born in Wisconsin, a state located in the north part of the USA. The capital city of Wisconsin is called, Madison. Wisconsin is known to have the "water park capital of the world" called, Wisconsin Dells.

There are many farms with cows, horses, and pigs. Traditional dishes include dairy products, especially "cheese curds."

 

She was born in a town called, Stevens Point. She grew up with her four brothers. The youngest one is 13 and the oldest one is 25. She is 23 years old.  She has a large family and a cat named Bella! She was on a dance team when she was young. She studied to be a teacher at Winona State University. Now she lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

There is a huge American football stadium where the "Vikings" play. In winter, it's very cold and there is a lot of snow. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
